Pascall+Watson Architects wins at Structural Steel Design Awards 2010
Pascall+Watson Architects have received a top award at the recent Structural Steel Design Awards 2010 for the new Terminal 2 at Dublin International Airport.
The judges commented that the design provides ‘an exceptionally user-friendly experience; the expression of the steel structure is clear, with consistent detailing. The project has been constructed in a short time period amidst the day-to-day life of a busy international airport. A well executed project which demonstrates close cooperation between all involved, and a fine example of the capabilities of steelwork.’
The award recognises the innovative design solution, dedication and determination of the Pascall+Watson team that has seen this landmark project from inception through to construction.
