The new Ambulance Base at the Community Hospital of the Assumption, Thurles, has been announced as a finalist for the Healthcare Building Project of the Year category at the Irish Healthcare Centre Awards 2013.
Joanne Dooher, Project Architect and David Hendron, Associate at Pascall+Watson were in attendance at the awards ceremony which was held in Royal Marine Hotel in Dublin on Friday 8 March 2013 and was hosted by RTE’s Brian Dobson.
Tony Cantwell, Managing Director of The CMG Group, the hosts and organisers of the event, thanked everyone for their participation and commented on the very high level of submissions received.
The new Ambulance Base provides modern working environments for staff, incorporating space requirements appropriate to the need and aids the provision of a better and improved service to meet the needs of clients in the catchment area.
