Pascall+Watson’s support for Mace’s Building Futures student education programme has been recognised with a Volunteer of the Year award.
Our team of Ellie Turnbull, Diana Sanroman, Jennifer Wong, John Porter and Nimit Raval have been working with students at Desborough College, in Maidenhead, as part of the programme to attain a British Science Association Construction Development CREST Award.
The RIBA structured course, which introduces the design & construction process and the variety of roles within the industry, encourages students to think and behave like scientists, designers and engineers.
More than 30 volunteers from Mace, Heathrow Development, Heathrow Academy, BakerHicks and Pascall+Watson have supported the 12 week initiative.
A celebration of the student’s achievements took place at the college on Friday 14 February, where they were presented with their CREST Award certificates.
Daniel Cunliffe, Pascall+Watson’s Director for the programme, said:
“We are delighted to be part of the Building Futures programme, which has given us an insight into the aspirations of the next generation and the opportunity to support them in exploring the potential of the design and construction industry”
