As architects and designers we have a duty to influence sustainability within the built environment. And as a practice that specialises in transportation design we have the opportunity to initiate the challenge of current conventions on how we use and operate airports, in order for them to have a more positive impact on the world around us.

With this in mind we invited our creative team to put forward their fresh ideas in response to this critical and emotive subject.

Here we showcase a selection of their concepts, which consider sustainable principles including passive design, zero carbon energy, health and well-being, circular economy, climate adaptation and resilience.
