P+W CELEBRATE POC IN ARCHITECTURE’S 5TH ANNIVERSARY

We are proud to have been part of the POC in Architecture CIC 5th anniversary celebration, held on Saturday 25th July.

Now in its fifth year, POC in Architecture CIC‘s mentoring programme has supported over 250 Black and Black-mixed heritage students through their architectural education – a remarkable milestone that speaks to the power of mentorship in shaping the future of our profession.

On the night, this year’s mentee cohort exhibited their work, with student awards presented across three categories: Outstanding Conceptual Creativity, Technical Innovation, and the newly introduced People’s Choice Award. The energy, creativity and ambition on display was truly inspiring.

Pascall+Watson Director Nitesh Naidoo had the honour of presenting the Technical Innovation Award to Benita Onuoha, recognising her exceptional technical skill and ambition within the cohort. Congratulations, Benita!

Nitesh reflected on the evening:
“It was a wonderful evening surrounded by inspired work that showed real passion and creativity. It was great to see the students’ eagerness to engage. I will definitely be back.”
