Heathrow Rail, Wayfinding & Rebrand
The new visual identity has been applied across a diverse range of elements, ensuring consistent brand communication along the entire passenger journey
To complement the introduction of the new Elizabeth Line rail service across the city of London, Pascall+Watson were commissioned to carry out a re-branding exercise across all of the rail infrastructure at Heathrow Airport.
The Heathrow Rail Brand Identity has been created to sit within the airports’ existing wayfinding framework and offers a new suite of products that provide information at key points along the passenger journey.
The visual identity has been applied to a diverse range of elements including static signage, digital interfaces, display screens and individual passenger ticketing to deliver a common and consistent brand.
A suite of graphic rail maps has been developed to communicate the specific rail connections and interfaces across the airport. The creation of a new digital graphics system enables the delivery of real time information unlike any other currently in use within the UK rail industry.
