Yas Bay provides Abu Dhabi with a fantastic new hospitality and leisure complex including an 18,000 seat indoor entertainment arena, a 545 bedroom family hotel, retail, food and beverage offers and a series of carefully landscaped public spaces. The scheme forms part of a much wider masterplan to transform Yas Island in to a one-stop destination for tourism and business.

As part of a multi-disciplinary design team, Pascall+Watson have worked across all of the assets to bring the developer’s vision to life.

The Etihad entertainment arena has flexibility at its core; it can be readily transformed from an 18,000 seat venue to an intimate 500 seat theatre to cater for a multitude of different events.

The 74,000m² hotel incorporates a multi-purpose convention and meeting facility, swimming pools, restaurants, entertainment amenities and a beach club.

The retail and restaurant development is spread across four distinct zones (Promenade, Boardwalk, Destination Pier and Entertainment & Adventure) and is inspired by the culture’s historic open courtyards, markets, gardens and shaded walkways.

Yas Bay combines a variety of experiences to deliver a memorable environment that is destined to become the must visit district of Abu Dhabi.
