As part of our ongoing portfolio of work at Heathrow Airport, Pascall+Watson were engaged to create a conceptual strategy to modernise Terminal 3 and subsequently to deliver the scheme.

Our concept redefines the terminal’s visual identity and reshapes the passenger journey, creating an intuitive wayfinding experience.

Feature lighting introduced to the terminal’s signage and main façades form a distinctive new aesthetic for the building’s exterior and highlight the passenger entry points.

Inside the terminal, the reorganisation of the check-in area creates a fluid and spacious environment, with clear lines of sight to all check-in zones and additional flight information touch-points to ensure seamless navigation.

The design adopts the architectural language Pascall+Watson developed for Terminal 5, to achieve a consistent branding and public face across the campus.
