The first phase of Heathrow Rail Station’s redevelopment has launched across the airport’s Terminal 4, Terminal 5 and Central Terminals Area (CTA), ahead of the Elizabeth Line being introduced.
The initial stage includes Pascall+Watson’s design for the new digital signage and product branding strategy, which has been applied across a range of new digital displays, super-graphics and wayfinding elements. This will deliver flexible and real time information and ensure a consistent and seamless passenger experience.
The second phase will see the completion of the Terminal 4 and CTA station platforms and tunnels reconfiguration, in line with our wayfinding strategy.
Speaking on the project Nitesh Naidoo, Project Director states:
“As part of our ongoing association with Heathrow Airport, we are delighted to be working closely with Heathrow Rail on this forward-thinking project”
Jeremy van den Bergh, Project Manager for Heathrow Rail states:
“The new wayfinding strategy and reconfigured station layouts, spearheaded by the Pascall+Watson team, have aided Heathrow in not only refreshing the look and feel of the stations and encouraging passengers to use Heathrow’s rail services but also to commence the longer process of increasing capacity of the stations”
