Pascall+Watson have designed and delivered a new €16m transfer hub at Dublin Airport Terminal 2.
Located adjacent to the existing Pier 4, the recently opened facility quadruples the airport’s flight connections capacity for passengers connecting between flights.
Comprising immigration and customs facilities, airline information desks and boarding card checkpoints; the hub allows passengers to complete ‘a one-stop’ flight connection process.
The three-storey building was constructed within a constrained site, five weeks ahead of schedule and without disruption to airport operations.
The project complements our long standing relationship and portfolio of work at Dublin Airport, which includes the redevelopment of Terminal 1, the new Terminal 2 and more recently, the Terminal 2 airside retail upgrade which is due for completion next year.
Vincent Harrison, Managing Director of Dublin Airport, commented:
“We have been growing Dublin Airport as a connecting gateway between Europe and North America steadily over the past five years and this new transfer facility will help us to further expand that business”
