Imperial College London Dyson School of Design Engineering, Imperial College London

The new Dyson School of Design Engineering at Imperial College London (ICL), founded with support from the James Dyson Foundation, will provide contemporary learning facilities for undergraduate, masters and doctoral research students. The School, dedicated to engineering innovation and entrepreneurship, is part of the Faculty of Engineering at Imperial College and runs two Master’s programmes with the Royal College of Art.

Following a feasibility study, Pascall+Watson were appointed to design the flagship facility located in space acquired from the Science Museum. The BREEAM rated design sees the refurbishment and reconfiguration of the building to provide flexible teaching and research facilities including workshops, design labs, exhibition space, open forum lecture areas and a cafeteria in the public realm.
