Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust

Pascall+Watson architects, working in collaboration with Whitby Bird Structural Engineers, were invited to submit a proposal for a Visitor/Education Centre and Screened Bridge for the WWT Estate in Welney, Norfolk, on a site designated for Special Scientific Interest (SSI). The design proposal developed, responded to the following programme requirements: environmental context of the site, views across the site, flexibility for future expansion, ecology, biodiversity and construction phasing.
