Science Park
Pascall+Watson have developed an overall masterplan for a collection of office buildings housing over 2,000 people in a state-of-the-art science park. The first phase is for a building servicing 600 people. Arranged over four floors accommodation is grouped around an internal street providing the opportunity for community activities and breakout spaces. The client requested that the design proposals achieve an 'excellent' BREEAM rating and this is achieved through the introduction of passive environmental controls including natural ventilation, exposed concrete soffits and stack effect air movement in the atrium.
