Larnaka + Pafos Airports, Cyprus

Pascall+Watson architects are leading a multidisciplinary team acting as lead architects for the re-development of the Cyprus International Airports at Pafos and Larnaka, initially for the Hermes Airports Consortium and subsequently for Bouygues for Hermes International. The project includes the phased development of a new state of the art multi-storey terminal capable of handling 7.5 million passengers per year in Larnaka, as well as a smaller 4 million passenger terminal in Pafos. The projects form part of eventual 30 year Build-Operate-Transfer (BOT) contract with French firm Bouygues, as the main contractor. On the 8th November 2008 Pafos International Airport opened its doors to the public. Larnaka International Airport is due for completion in May 2009.
