Michael's early career was spent in the office of Sir Norman Foster and Partners where he undertook design work on the acclaimed 'Carre d'Art' in Nimes, southern France, and afterwards on the award winning new Terminal Building at Stansted Airport. Following a period with Weston Williamson architects, developing designs for the London Bridge Jubilee Line Station, Michael joined Pascall+Watson where he has developed his expertise in transport related architecture at Gatwick, Heathrow and Luton airports. In 2000 Michael began the development of new designs for both Wembley Park Station (completed in 2006) and Blackfriars Thameslink Station (on-going). Michael leads the Rail sector architectural design team within P+W. In 1995 Michael completed a Masters Degree in Construction Law. Architectural design is Michael's great passion and he believes good design will lead to a greater recognition of the practice's work both in the UK and world-wide.
