Pascall+Watson in Mexico City Airport ShortlistJune 2014
Pascall+Watson have recently completed their entry for the new Mexico City Airport, and are now among seven international practices listed to compete for a 5,000 hectare greenfield site.
The facility will grow up to a projected 119 million passengers per annum and ultimately include 6 runways as part of an extensive masterplan located to the north-east of Mexico City. The Pascall+Watson team includes Mexico’s celebrated Sordo Madaleno Architects, EC Harris, Triagonal and Logplan.
The initial phase will include 81 contact gates and host 48.7million passengers per annum. The first phase is briefed to be operationally ready for October 2018.
