A multi-disciplinary team led by Pascall+Watson architects have gained planning permission, on behalf of CIE Group Property Management, for a major urban renewal project at Connolly Station, Dublin 1, providing 81,538m2 of mixed residential, commercial, community and leisure facilities.
New bus and coach provision will enhance Connolly’s position as a transport hub within a vibrant regenerated commercial quarter.
The principal sustainable aspects of the project will enhance the quality of the built environment through the promotion of high quality urban design and sustainable construction principles and techniques.
Reduction in the waste generated by the scheme is embodied by applying the principles of reduce, reuse and recycle.
Construction will provide 300-500 jobs over a ten year period with in excess of 3,000 jobs being generated post completion
